The Montana Restaurant Association became affiliated with the Montana Retail Association in 1996. Since then, the Restaurant Association (MTRA) has grown to nearly 300 members and encompasses all facets of the foodservice industry from quick serve to fine dining to institutional organizations and suppliers of the industry.
The MTRA also has an Education Foundation and works with the NRA ServSafe program to offer food safety and alcohol service training opportunties. For further information, go to our Education Foundation page.
When you join the Montana Restaurant Association (as a regular member), you also become a member of the National Restaurant Association (NRA). The NRA (http://www.restaurant.org) is ranked in the top 15 lobbying groups in Washington, DC by Fortune Magazine. The dual membership in the NRA includes a subscription to The Washington Weekly, a publication dedicated to weekly updates on issues in Washington, DC. The NRA's monthly magazine called Restaurants USA is available on-line. It is full of useful information to help improve your operation. Members also enjoy access to a huge library of educational materials through the NRA Educational Foundation.
